CROISSANTS, CABERNET BLANC, et LE PETIT PRINCE

That's about all the French I speak. Basics guys, basics!

This past weekend did carry a bit of a french theme though. Netflix recently released Le Petit Prince and Mel and I had been itching to have movie night to watch this. I'm also trying to make a bit more of an effort to be a good host, so I warmed up a few croissants, set out the Nutella, and my guest brought the liquid grapes. Have you seen the movie yet????

I ugly cried.

I'm not ashamed.

And if you have a heart, you'll bawl too!

Now, I don't actually know what the French eat and drink and my apologies if our movie treats are offensive to your culinary arts, but we thoroughly enjoyed it and that's what ultimately counts right?

I loved the movie so much that I've been listening to the soundtrack nonstop and I can't stop thinking about this quote in particular.
“You - you alone will have the stars as no one else has them...In one of the stars I shall be living. In one of them I shall be laughing. And so it will be as if all the stars were laughing, when you look at the sky at night...You - only you - will have stars that can laugh.”

Saturday was spent at one of my usual spots, the Museum of Fine Arts Houston. I felt the need to visit while it was gloomy out and see Kusama's exhibit yet again. The clouds made the inside feel a little gothic with the shadows the statues were casting. I had a relaxed lunch with my mom and a nice walk in the museum district.

But in true Houston nature, the sun came out midday for a few hours.

P.S. Anybody know who we can contact to clean that sign up there? I couldn't get over how pretty but dirty it was.
