Morning Routine (1 of 6).jpg

If you would have told us a few years ago that we would cherish our morning routines, we would have laughed. We would have laughed HARD. For starters, what morning routine? Our mornings consisted of getting up, rushing through the room scrounging around for clean clothes, rubbing the smeared eyeliner from the night before off to look somewhat presentable and then spending the first 15 minutes of work making our coffee.

Fast forward to 27 and here we are, scrounging to bed by 10 because we want to be functional in the morning, believing that getting up late means we didn’t have time to make coffee the way it should be, and thinking there is not way in hell we will be sleeping with makeup on without waking up to 10 new face hills.

A morning routine is IMPERATIVE to a great day. Hear us out because we swear by this. The days when we could wing it are long gone. It is time to cut the BS. It is time to be your best you from the moment you wake up. If not now when the hell else?!?! First thing’s first, go back to your childhood days and choose your outfit the night before. Get to bed at a decent time. Wake up with time to spare! Yes, we also have our days when we get too clicker happy with that snooze button, but for the most part we’re up and running about 2-3 hours before we are due at work. We get that coffee going, take about 3 minutes to get dressed, read our personal emails whilst enjoying that cup of jo and then head out. We show up to work having had and ready for the day.

What do your morning routines consist of? We really want to hear!

Talk soon,

Bree and Mel
