New York City

You've heard it before and you'll hear it again, the basic line, "I LOVE New York!" But it's true, less a statement, more of a proclamation, I LOVE NEW YORK CITY! Every memory I've made there the handful of times I've visited has been a very pleasant one. This last visit was that much more special. This time I stayed for a week, this time it was part of our girls' trip, this time I felt more grateful to be able to take a week off work to just enjoy life.

I don't grow tired of saying how much I love my friends, they are seriously the best! I return from each trip, whether it's 2 hours away or across the country feeling refreshed, full of life, full of joy, and full of gratitude for the women in my life. We stuffed our faces with all the Korean food, Indian food, pizza, bagels, coffee, and even vegan Mexican food. We happily walked in 30 degree weather for miles each day, went to bed relaxing with face masks bought in Koreatown, and woke up to snow silently making a great entrance to the city streets. We saw the grandeur of St.Patrick's Cathedral, the grace of Renoir's paintbrush at the Met, and the persistence of Edgar Degas through his sculptures.

I cannot fully describe all that we saw, truth is, it was too much, so as always, pictures are included. Some were taken by me, and most were taken by my friend/lifesaver, Brenda Lopez of Bella Lumi . I seriously cannot emphasize enough how great it was to have a another photographer to share camera duties with lol. Cheers to our next flight!

Talk soon,

B
